(I just found this carnival through Uncorked and Unwined--the 2010 Blog Hop, hosted by Pensieve. A great way for those of us who aren't at BlogHer this weekend, to connect with the blogosphere!)
So far, I've lived in Oklahoma, Virginia, Louisiana, Arkansas, Washington, and we are now thrilled to be making our home in Charleston, SC. I've worked as an administrative assistant for an oil marketers association, a hostess at a pizza restaurant, a personnelist in the Air Force, an office manager for a technical marketing firm and taken care of other people's children at before and after school care. I am back in school right now to earn my Masters in Elementary Education, but I still haven't totally figured out what I want to be when I grow up. Right now, I'm thinking ballerina. Maybe I should take some ballet lessons.
I'm an avid fan of reading, writing, scrapbooking, traveling and LSU football. My biological clock recently started ticking like a time bomb, and I am seriously considering kidnapping a small child if my husband doesn't return from his deployment soon and knock me up. I recommend that my friends and family keep a very close eye on their children when I'm in the general area.
I'm looking forward to "meeting" you all, as I really am something of an introvert, and the idea of standing in a room full of thousands of bloggers at BlogHer makes my palms sweat and my mouth dry. Let the blog hopping begin!

I love that you scrapbook! My mum got me into it ages ago and it's been so hard living overseas and away from all of her bits & pieces to steal. I'll have to print out a whole stack of albums when I get home, and get to work! :o)
I'm always sad when it's BlogHer time, because I'm not on the right continent. There are SO many ladies I would have loved to meet!

Nice to meet you! My husband is a fellow AF pilot and we just moved from Oklahoma to California. Can't wait to get more settled and back into crafts, including scrapbooking! Also love to read. I think it's great that you have the photo from Wicked; we just saw it in San Francisco. So from one introvert to another, hi and I hope to know you better!

Coming by from Blog Hop '10! You sound like a true Southern Belle (and a rabid LSU fan...I've had run-ins with some of you during bowl season!)
Anyway! I look forward to following you!!

I had to laugh out loud at "I still haven't totally figured out what I want to be when I grow up. Right now, I'm thinking ballerina." Thanks for the smiles.
I'm an introvert, too, so I can relate.
Stopping by from the Blog Hop. Hope you're having fun with it, too!

Well, I'll have to forgive you for being an LSU fan (I'm a BuckEye and Sooner fan. ;-))...you're just so funny. I remember when my clock started busting out the seams...I can't imagine being there when my husband wasn't around! HA!

Haha, thanks for mentioning me and so glad you participated! I didnt know your husband was also a pilot. My clock has been ticking for a while as well, but it's hard to get a pilot to stay in one place for very long, isnt it?
PS....I went to my 2nd Zumba class tonight. Im pretty sure I looked like a spastic chicken. Maybe ballet is more my style. ;)

I'm hopping! I've been with the same employer for 19 years, but I think I finally found what I want to do when I grow up. Good luck with being a ballerina.

Stopping by from the Blog Hop- I'm with you about large groups...I don't even have a desire to go to Blogher! I did go to Savvy Blogging Summit and even with only 70 people I still had my moments ("meet and greet" ugh). Hey, that's why we blog. ;-)

Oh my goodness, your post cracked me up. I'm a Southern girl (raised in Tennessee) that now lives in Oregon. We lived in TN, VA, CO, WA, too. My husband was in the Army and got out 3 years ago. I started my blog when he was deployed to Iraq. Hm, what else? Oh. I love the SEC...went to Alabama. Roll Tide!!
It's great to "meet" you. Here's my blog hop post: This Blog O’ Mine
