I've gone through some of your blog rolls to find new reads, and am running into a similar problem there, finding mostly dead links, defunct blogs, or the most recent update from some time in May or June. The 20 Something Bloggers group has just gotten overwhelmingly huge, and I can't even begin to filter through all of the blogs there. And yet, I know that there are some great blogs out there that I just don't know about--and I want to find them!
So, this is where you come in--please, please cheddar cheese with a cherry on top, recommend a couple of your favorite blogs to me! I'm not too interested in the super-bloggers, but I have a weakness for funny, intelligent bloggers with a focus on travel, writing, work, raising a family or just day-to-day life. I'm not totally writing them off, but college students do tend to make me feel older than dirt...
I'm looking forward to checking out your suggestions, and if you're a lurker (I know you're out there!), by all means, show yourself--I'd love to check out your blog too if you have one!

Some of my favorites...
Shannon at Webbisodes:
http://ourgatorzone.blogspot.com/
**She is so witty and fun and she always posts the cutest pictures and updates of her daughter and family. :)
Andrea at Life in Dawleywood:
http://andreasattic-andrea.blogspot.com/
**She is also very witty and fun! She gives lots of great tips on products and crafts...updates and pictures of her and her husband...you'll love her!
Amber at The Survival Guide For The Young, Fabulous and Newlywed:
http://fabulousyoungandnewlywed.blogspot.com/
**Another witty one! Can you tell I love witty blogs? :) Amber is very fun but also deep. She makes you think and she pours her heart out on her blog.
Of course I've got about 100 blogs that I love but I can't possibly put them all on here! If you need more just let me know! :)

Ok, here are some of my favorites:
http://www.dooce.com
I actually heard about Heather on HGTV (she's a guest blogger for them), but her personal site has zero to do with the network. It's all about life with a husband, two kids, two dogs, and all that comes with it. She cracks me up.
http://www.amalah.com
This one might be a bit of a wild card. Amy is a mother of two young boys and she blogs about them and motherhood here. She's witty and sarcastic and sometimes brash, but she has me laughing on a regular basis. The unique twist here is that her older son has Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) and she blogs quite a bit about those challenges (and successes!).
http://www.designspongeonline.com
Totally unrelated to the other two, this is more of a professional blog site and is updated multiple times a day. It's a good place for all kinds of design ideas - before and afters, highlights of certain designers, craft projects, etc. I certainly don't read every post, I'll scroll through them and peruse the ones that are interesting. Might be a good place for inspiration on decorating your new home!
Hope you like them!

You've seen my blogroll, probably--it's pretty varied. I don't think I've added this one but it is hilarious (and they're not making it up): http://awfullibrarybooks.wordpress.com/
If people wonder what librarians do, part of it is what we call weeding the collection. And there are some interesting finds to be had when we do that. I have a submission to scan, come to think of it.
Also, Sheila O'Malley (screenwriter and actress) at The Sheila Variations is smart and loves to talk books, movies, acting. Very passionate, and a great writer: http://www.sheilaomalley.com

Hi, there! Loved the shoe post. I knew you had to have one in you from your travels!
I have a couple of Nashville gals whose blogs entertain me quite a lot who have been blogging about the same amout of time as we have:
Lindsay at Suburban Turmoil
http://suburbanturmoil.blogspot.com/
Jamie at Blonde Mom Blog
http://suburbanturmoil.blogspot.com/
And a couple of old favorites that you probably already know about:
Alice at Finslippy

and
Melissa at Suburban Bliss

I am definitely a blog casualty. I suck. As far as favorites,
www.livitluvit.com
Hannah Just Breathe - don't know the link, but Google her. She's a great writer with a focus on yoga, but also daily life.

Do you read the Style Rookie, already? http://www.thestylerookie.com/
If college kids make you feel old, this one will send you to senior living. She's, like, 14. But fabulous. Give her a chance.
I am hoping to reinvigorate my blog here, soon. (ish.) Shake-up to come.
