Yesterday we had our first real (and probably only) snowfall of the year. Being a southern girl through and through, I spent the entire day at work plastered against the window, exclaiming every time a snowflake hit the ground and stuck. Eventually we had an early release from work, as I guess the powers that be decided that no real work was getting done since we were all just sitting around waiting for the early release message.
I drove for the first time in snowy and icy conditions, and once I got over the initial flinching everytime snow would hit my windshield I was an old pro. Jack on the other hand couldn't get over the excitement, and we spent the afternoon bouncing around in the snow. And I reached the conclusion that early release for snowfall is thoroughly more preferable to early release for hurricanes!

I miss warm summer weather BAD!

Early release is the best, isn't it? Looks like Jack had fun! Send that snow my way! :-)

We're expecting over a foot of the white stuff tomorrow. I'm so not excited, but at least we have enough cocoa to keep me from openly sobbing. Not a snow lover!

Fun for Jack!!! Sunny has never seen snow, only frost on the grass. When Kasey was alive she didn't like the frost. I don't think dogs can walk on tip-toe, but it sure seemed like that's what she was doing!!

I love dogs in snow! Spencer hasn't had any yet--and with this move to Houston it doesn't look too promising. Enjoy the white stuff!
