Wow, thanks to everyone for the tornado suggestions—both serious and facetious! Although I must say, my particular favorite was the one involving cookies, cottage cheese, and John Corbett… Also, very excited to note that The Devil Wears Prada is being made into a movie! I love it when favorite books come to the silver screen and I can see how horribly wrong they manage to convey the characters from the book, ah well, apparently it has Anne Hathaway in it and she’s pretty cute so we’ll see.
Poor puppy Jack has gotten quite sick again, his cough was nearly gone, but it’s back in full force now and last night he had to sleep in the kitchen because his breathing was so sniffly I couldn’t get to sleep. He’s also got these hideous white wormy things that make me want to throw up everytime we take a potty walk. (Eating breakfast were ya? Want more details? No? Okay! I won’t tell you about how they’re all squirmy and tiny and flat and I have to use a stick to wipe them off the hair on his bum before we go back inside… mm mm good, kind of makes me want to throw up just thinking about it…) Called the vet last night, waiting to hear back from them, but I’ll probably call again after lunch if they still haven’t called back. I’m supposed to bring him in tomorrow to get his manhood whacked, but I’m not sure the doctor will want to proceed if pup is still under the weather.
Oh, and nothing like flipping the channel and being faced with Jackie: the 627 pound woman, to make you want to go burn all those delicious lemon sugar cookies you just baked on a whim.

Poor Jack! Get well soon, pup!

I've heard great things about that book, so I will definitely have to check it out.

Nothing ruins your puppys day more than a trip to see Dr. Hackemoff.
But it's the right thing to do so good luck.

TAPEWORMS! Those flat ones are probably tape worms, so get thee to the vet now. ICK!

eww gross, my cat has had the same and it does indeed sound like tapeworms. Poor Jack. He's not having a good week.
Either that or he knows what you're planning to do to his mini-me's and is faking it somehow ;)
